Sky is soon to launch seven, yes seven, new HD channels, and to mark this momentous occasion, it is offering its Sky+ HD box for just £75.

This is half the usual price and the deal will run for the whole of October.

Customers, whether currently with Sky or not, will qualify for the deal if they sign up to a Sky+ HD package - paying from £17 a month plus £10 a month for the HD mix.

The seven new HD channels will launch on Sky+HD and include six genre-themed Sky Movie channels - Sky Movies Action/Thriller HD; Sky Movies Sci-Fi/Horror HD; Sky Movies Drama HD; Sky Movies Modern Greats HD; Sky Movies Family HD and Sky Movies Comedy HD and a new HD version of Sky Real Lives.

After their launch, Sky will boast 26 HD channels.
