Following the news Pocket-lint brought you of the impending launch of the Nokia "Tube" on 2 October, it seems Reuters has sources that agree with our prediction.

Reuters reports: "The world's top cellphone maker Nokia will unveil its first touch-screen phone at a media and analyst event in London next week, two industry sources told Reuters on Friday ... Both sources said Nokia was set to unveil the phone, codenamed 'Tube,' on Oct 2".

As per our previous article, our anonymous industry source said the new touchscreen phone, thought to be the 5800 XpressMusic, would be unveiled at the "Comes With Music" press event. Pocket-lint will be live at the 2 October shindig so will bring you more official news then.
