MacBook Pro leaked shot shows LED-equipped trackpad?. Hardware, MacBooks, Rumours, Apple, Photos 0

If you squint carefully at this recently revealed supposed spy shot of the new MacBook Pro, you'll see dock icons on the trackpad, which if a genuine pic, would suggest Apple will implement the much-rumoured LED-equipped, multi-touch trackpads in the new models...

  • Looks like reflection to me... Don't think I will be taking much notice of this one! Posted by Alex, uk
  • Except for the slight detail that what's on the trackpad looks nothing like what's on the screen. Posted by Obi-Wandreas, United States
  • The Apple logo on the shirt is backwards but the DVD slot is on the correct side. Posted by gymkit, United States
  • gymkit, that's the normal behavior of Apple's Photobooth, and in fact video chats even. As for a reflection, my issue is that I don't see what is on the screen either, which even IF it was a glass trackpad I would expect to see the LCD below and the screen reflection behind at least a little. • The screen has had the doc removed. You can notice the blur and lack of stars if you look close. There's also more black in that space.

The doc on the track pad is a paste.

The backwards apple on the t-shirt is due to the mirror reflection of a guy with a camera taking a picture of himself, it is within the photobooth photo window, either taken with photobooth or pasted into that space.

The whole thing is a badly done hack.

  • It's a photoshop mockup. The reversed photobooth image is fine. The dock in the touch trackpad is fine.

The mistake is the angle of the phone taking the pic, indicates he is shooting down more than the image of the laptop. The laptop is taken from a much lower angle.

The 2nd mistake is the person is not taking a photo. The shutter is on the face of the iPhone. All of his thumbs and fingers are visible.
