eBay has announced that it will make a new mobile application - eBay Mobile - available for iPhone and iPod touch users in Europe after its launch previously in the States.

The new free application gives Apple users the ability to bid, buy and pay for items directly from their mobile devices.

With the eBay Mobile users can get immediate access to search and "My eBay at a glance", can view activity on watched items and read the seller's complete description "as it was meant to be viewed".

iPhone or iPod Touch users can visit www.itunes.com/appstore or the App Store on their devices to download these applications.
