Boston Acoustics has launched its i-DS2 iPod dock. With an acoustically-tuned chamber, the i-DS2 has two 9cm full range speakers and offers 60 watts of "audiophile system power for a room-filling, high-quality sound".

The dock charges the iPod and comes complete with a remote control, video output and a USB connector as well as a 3.5mm mini-jack input.

With four optional interchangeable grilles – chili red, glacier, spanish moss, and rose bud – and a gloss white and piano black gloss cabinet finish, the i-DS2 will cost £150 from October.
