Panasonic has launched the PT-AE3000, the new flagship model in the company's home projector line-up.

Designed for a "premium" home cinema experience the PT-AE3000 delivers 1080p images at 100Hz with 1600 lumens and 60,000:1 contrast ratio.

New "Frame Creation" technology is optimised for large screen viewing with a Lens Memory feature which is capable of memorising and restoring zoom/focus positions for different aspect ratios, such as 2.35:1 widescreen.

The PT-AE3000 can cast a 120-inch diagonal image from 3.6 metres to 7 metres from the screen while the projector’s lens shift capability enables 100% vertical adjustment and 40% horizontal adjustment for wall or ceiling mounting.

Tech-wise, there's Dynamic Iris, Smooth Screen Technology, Pure Color Filter, Detail Clarity Processor 2, Split Adjust mode and Intelligent Power Management for better eco credentials.

With three HDMI inputs and two component input terminals, the PT-AE3000 will be available from November, pricing not revealed.
