Panasonic has expanded its range of Viera TVs with Freesat HD built-in by adding two new full HD LCD TVs to its PZ81 plasma line up.

Freesat offers subscription free HD services with 130 digital TV and radio channels including HD programmes from the BBC and ITV, all for free.

The LZD81 series boasts a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 with Intelligent Scene Controller tech and gets the V-Real Pro 3 picture technology that Panasonic claims offers upscaling capabilities for standard definition sources such as DVD or TV programming.

There's also 24p playback, x.v.Colour, 178 degree viewing angle, both horizontally and vertically, V-Audio Surround sound, three HDMI connector slots, two SCART connectors, SD Card, PC Input and an eco mode.

The LZD81 series will available in two screen sizes, 32-inches and 37-inches from October.
