Samsung has launched a new series of music phones, with two models set to debut before the end of the year.

The Samsung BEATb and Samsung BEATs are the start of a new line of "The BEAT Edition" mobiles.

The two new music phones get Digital Natural Sound engine that claims to provide 3D sound and deep bass resonance as well as "Auto EQ" that automatically sets the best equaliser setting.

Shazam's "Find Music" service is also on the devices that lets users record a clip of a song they like, find out what it is and then chose to purchase it.

In addition, Samsung has added a "Motion Play" feature to the phones, which is their version of motion control for music.

This function will see users playing or pausing music by tapping their phone, muting music by flipping the phone, and shaking the device to change songs.

Samsung BEATb is a 9.9mm thick candybar phone while the BEATs is a slider that also boasts B&O ICEpower tech as well as a stereo speaker.

The BEATb will be available in September. the BEATs will follow in October, no other info provided at this stage.
