It's dark, you've just woken up, but don't want to turn the bedroom light on because you know that it will blind you. So what do you do to stop yourself stacking it other the corner of the bed or walking into the wardrobe? Put on your Brightfeet Lighted Slippers.

Powered by 2 replaceable lithium batteries that are included in each slipper. The slippers contain light sensors in them which turn on the LEDs in the slippers when in darkened conditions.

Weight sensors alert the LED in each slipper to activate. Each LED is angled upward for projection of light. The company state that each LED will easily illuminate an area 20 to 25 feet in front of you. After removing the slipper, a built-in timer delays LED shut-off to allow time to see your way safely back to bed.

The slippers cost $39.99, but the company doesn't currently offer international shipping.
