LG has launched two new television series - headed up by a fresh line-up of HD Ready LCD models.

The LG4000 series comprises 26- and 32-inch models.

They key feature is the integrated DVD player which LG says makes this new line-up perfect for smaller pads.

Design wise - the LG4000 series has a distinctive scarlet flash, and the DVD player has a side vacuum-loading slot.

Technology worth mentioning includes LG’s clear voice option, which automatically enhances dialogue when background noise becomes too great.

You also get three HDMI 1.3 inputs.

The new launches will play DVD R/RW+-/RAM, Video CDs, and audio CDs (JPEG/MP3).

The Dynamic Contrast Ratio is 50,000:1 for the 32-inch model and 8000:1 for the 26-inch model.

No prices as yet but we'll keep you posted.
