T-Mobile has launched a new range of off-the-shelf mobile broadband products. Said to be designed to let you simply plug in and get fast internet on the move instantly, there are three new price points to suit different needs.

Mobile Broadband 1 Day is available for £2 a day, Mobile Broadband for seven days offers unlimited broadband access for seven days for £10 while Mobile Broadband for thirty days offers unlimited broadband access for £20.

To access T-Mobile pre-pay mobile broadband, customers need to purchase a Mobile Broadband USB Stick 110 for £49.99, credit can be topped up direct from the laptop and customers are able to select whichever package suits them at the time.

  • It's not unlimited. There's a 3Gb/month fair usage cap. It's also not contract-free although the contract seems to have only a 30 day minimum (the contract is probably there for the sole purpose of imposing the fair usage policy). Posted by Gerard, UK
  • Yes, I'm not sure how they are planning to enforce the 30 day cancellation period with the Pay as you Go option. The other is essentially a 'SIM Only' Mobile Broadband package.
