Following the announcement of the deal between the two companies, it's been revealed that Vodafone UK will be the first European network operator to offer Dell's Inspiron Mini 9 netbook with built-in mobile broadband connectivity.

Available from mid-October, the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 will be available through Vodafone in the UK from free on a 2-year contract.

There are a range of plans due to be available, but one Pocket-lint can confirm is a 24-month contract priced at £25 per month, including 1GB usage, that will see the netbook offered for free.

The little laptop will be sold complete with a Vodafone SIM, and pre-installed mobile broadband connectivity software.

Customers interested in nabbing one of the connected netbooks can pre-register now for more info nearer the time at www.vodafone.co.uk/netbooks.
