Pinnacle has announced the "Ultimate" version of its PCTV nanoStick.

The miniature-sized Pinnacle PCTV nanoStick Ultimate delivers digital TV for PCs and Macs, allowing users to pause, rewind and record their favourite shows.

Thanks to its small size (5.5 x 2.3 x 1.3cm) Pinnacle is angling the new device as perfect for owners of ultra-slim Macs and Windows laptops.

When used with a PC this tuner streams TV signal up to three PCs on a home LAN network thanks to the inclusion of Pinnacle DistanTV.

Complete with Pinnacle TVCenter Pro for PC and new Elgato EyeTV Lite for Mac, as well as a mini-remote, the tiny tuner is on sale from 8 October for £49.99.
