Struggling handheld games console Gizmondo will get its American launch in time for Christmas according its co-founder and Chairman Carl Freer. Tiger Telematics, the company that makes the console has confirmed its USA release date as the 22 October 2005."Contrary to rumours in the marketplace we are not delaying the scheduled USA launch, we are committed to the October 22, 2005 release date", said Carl Freer, co-founder and Chairman. "The product will be available in all 50 states well in advance of the Christmas retail season".
