Amazon.com is to launch its digital music service Amazon MP3 in the UK next month, according to reports. The download service will directly rival iTunes and similar offerings from the likes of UK-based 7digital - that announced this week is was going 100% DRM-free MP3.
The NMA, echoing a previous report from The Telegraph back in June, says Amazon has held a series of meetings with UK record labels and has undertaken a recruitment drive to "beef up" its digital division.
Amazon UK's PR team declined to comment to Pocket-lint on the rumours so we'll just have to wait and see... Audio, Music downloads, Amazon, Rumours
