Google has used its Developer Day event in London to show off a working Android phone, as captured by YouTube user "scottlet".

The mystery phone got tape put over the branding so as not to spoil the forthcoming handset's launch, expected from T-Mobile/HTC very soon.

Watch the vid now to see select areas of the new mobile operating system in action. Not long to wait now, if the rumours are to be believed.
