Logitech Z-5 omnidirectional PC speakers launch

"The next evolution in computer speaker acoustics"

Logitech has introduced "the next evolution in computer speaker acoustics", with the unveiling of the Logitech Z-5 omnidirectional stereo speakers.

For both PC and Mac computers, the company says they deliver great sound throughout your room.

Unlike standard PC speakers that focus sound in one direction, the Logitech Z-5 speakers use omnidirectional acoustics that claim to create a "substantially wider sweet spot".

The omnidirectional acoustics on the Logitech Z-5 speakers use forward- and backward-firing drivers to transmit sound evenly in all directions.

The Z-5 speakers connect via USB with no need for an external power adaptor or batteries and come complete with a remote control.

The Logitech Z-5 omnidirectional stereo speakers are expected to be available this month for a suggested retail price of 79.99 euros.
