Creative has announced the Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! "USB sound stick card" that fits onto a keyring for maximum portability.

The new offering plugs into any USB port and - thanks to the installation software and other essential files stored on the device - needs no installation CD or additional USB storage.

The stick offers Creative's X-Fi technology and comes with "incredible" 360-degree X-Fi Headphone Surround for an enhanced audio experience with games, music and movies.

There's also EAX Advanced HD 4.0 and Open AL for maximum audio realism in games, VoiceFX technology allows users to morph their voices into other personas during online games or when chatting over the Internet and Creative ALchemy software that restores surround sound for legacy games under Windows Vista.

In addition, there's "bonus software" that can be downloaded for free including Creative's Karaoke Player with LRC format support, and Creative WaveStudio that offers easy audio editing, special effects and audio clean-up functions for recorded music files, lectures and podcasts.

The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! is available now for 49.99 euros.
