Tesco appears to have leaked a new netbook from Dell, offering the machine on an "email me when it's in stock" basis for its supposed availability around 6 October.
Running Linux "Ubunto", the Dell Inspiron Z530 is described by the supermarket as a 12-inch "Web Browser" and is priced at £299 - the same as the 8.9-inch Inspiron Mini 9 launched recently.
The spec listed on the site grants the little notebook, offering an "ultra mobile web experience" a 40GB hard drive, 1GB RAM and Intel's Atom processor.
Available in black, there's also a three-in-one memory card reader, three USB ports and 802.11b/g wireless.
We have contacted Dell in the UK for comment and received a brief statement - "we cannot comment on unannounced product" - in reply, so we guess we'll have to wait 'til 6 October to know more.
