Hulger launches designer walnut VoIP phone

Handmade from a solid block of wood

Plastic-y headsets just won't cut it after you've seen Hulger's new PAPPA*PHONE.

Compatible with all VoIP service, including, among others, Skype, iChat, GoogleTalk, Vonage and Yahoo, the designer handset is handmade.

Created from a solid block of walnut and with brass accents, Hulger says the phone mixes old and new with "profound simplicity".

The phone has a 1.5 metre cord and offers USB connection so plugs directly into a PC or a Mac and with claimed plug and play simplicity.

With each phone handmade to order, you'll be waiting around 8 weeks for it to arrive, after you've coughed up the 225 euro asking price.
