Microsoft might have signed a deal with Microsoft to provide in search support for its browser, but that hasn't stopped Google launching a new application on Thursday for BlackBerry smartphones.

Google Mobile App for BlackBerry is a free download and promises to give Crackberry addicts faster search functionality as well as access to Google's plethora of apps such as Maps, Gmail, and News.

However Google hasn't included its chat application Google Talk, much to the annoyance of commentators on its official mobile blog with many of them questioning why the application is missing from the suite of programmes.

The application is available to download from m.google.com
