Intempo WorkMate launches
DAB for DIY

Intempo has announced a practical entry to the DAB market with the launch of the WorkMate, described as rugged and reliable with a splash-proof rubberised finish.
With the claim that it's the "perfect DIY radio", the WorkMate gets a "tactile but tough" rubber casing and can be powered by the mains or four AA batteries.
The gadget offers auto-scanning abilities for tuning and the new radio can save up to 20 of your favourite stations as presets.
"WorkMate will be at home alongside your tool kit for all those DIY jobs or perfect for any outside sport, such as boating or fishing. It’s the perfect gift for dads and granddads so they can tune into talkSPORT while washing the car or gardening", said an Intempo exec.
Available in pure black with "zest orange accents", the WorkMate will be on sale in October from Amazon retailing at £39.99.
