It appears HTC is planning to expand further on its Touch range of Windows Mobile smartphones as a new model, the Touch HD, is leaked on the Internet.

With spy-shots sent into a mobile phone blog, some spec has apparently also been revealed that would suggest the phone will launch at the top of the range.

Running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the handset is said to boast a Qualcomm 7201A processor, get 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM and offer a WVGA quality screen.

Measuring 115 x 62.8 x 12mm, the phone will be a speedy HSDPA offering, come complete with GPS, a 5-megapixel camera, microSD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The rumour puts this new mobile in stores in time for Christmas, which should mean an announcement soon.
