Reuters is reporting that T-Mobile is to launch its Android handset (presumably the HTC Dream/G1) "within weeks".

"T-Mobile and Google will be making an announcement this month in New York City", said Reuters, quoting two people familiar with the situation.

These unnamed sources have apparently said that 23 September is a likely date for the announcement. Stay tuned...
