In the States, Microsoft has announced new firmware, and new capacity models for its Zune media player range.On the device side of things, there are new 16GB and 120GB capacities as well as a new blue-on-silver and an all-black colour schemes.
The major new feature granted to the range is called Buy from FM, which lets customers tag and purchase songs they hear on FM radio stations directly from the Zune device when they hit a Wi-Fi hotspot or their home network.
Zune owners can also now access the Zune Marketplace music store directly from their device when they are in a Wi-Fi area.
As well as some usability tweaks, and the new wireless wizardry, the software update will get Zuners support for Audible audiobooks and two free games, "Hexic" and "Texas Hold 'Em".
Pricing is 120GB for $249.99, 80GB for $229.99, 16GB for $199.00, 8GB for $149.99 and 4GB for $129.99. Audio, MP3 players, Microsoft, Audible, Wireless, Wi-Fi, Zune
