Sony Ericsson hints at more YouTube enabled handsets

Upload and download videos on the go

Sony Ericsson has announced a partnership with Google that will see future handsets coming with YouTube capabilities built-in.

The deal, announced with the launch of the first handset, the G705, will allow users to bypass the need to set-up their phone to use YouTube's uploading feature.

Sony Ericsson has said that it will be integrating the YouTube feature into selected upcoming models in the future.

"YouTube compatible and further models will be announced at a later stage", the company said in a statement.

It isn't the first deal with the American search engine though. Sony Ericsson handsets already feature a Blogging tool that allows users to blog directly to their Blogger.com account, also owned by Google, via their phone.

The G705 even has a dedicated Google shortcut button giving users access to the search engines' services.
