Olympus has announced the launch of a new digital camera that sports a 6 megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom and a 3in LCD display on the back.Called the SP-700, the new model also features a "Compare and Shoot" function that enables users to check and compare results before re-shooting or adjusting settings if necessary, helping to ensure you will never take a bad photograph again.
The camera will also feature 24 scene modes that include an Portrait, Beach, Snow, Night Scene and Underwater, Red-eye Fix, and Macro or Super Macro Mode for shooting from just 1cm away, multi-shot, Label Shot, Calendar function, 2in1 and panorama.
The camera will come with 11MB internal memory plus a slot for xD-Picture Cards. It will also be PictBridge compatible.
