Promises an interactive experience

Musinaut has unveiled MXP4, a new digital audio format that the company says "transforms an artist's recorded music into an interactive, multi-sensory experience".

Musinaut's MXP4 technology means the original song can be supplied along with multiple versions of the composition, graphics and text/communications (such as lyrics, "insights" from the artist, or tour/album dates) in a single download.

The MXP4 (which stands for Multiplied Experience Platform in 4D) product suite is made up of the MXP4Creator, which is available for artists and musicians, and the MXP4Player, which is designed for use by listeners.

The MXP4Creator software is available for £279 while the free-to-download MXP4Player is available at www.mxp4.com.
