Apple watchers warn of "underwhelming" event

Unless there's one more thing...

As Apple fans look forward to Tuesday's "Let's Rock" special event, investors are not so positive about the company, seeing the predicted launches as nothing revolutionary.

Apple shares have been going down "steadily" for a little while now with a 9% decline over the last 2 weeks alone.

Shaw Wu, an analyst with American Technology Research, has warned investors the event "may be somewhat underwhelming" predicting the launch of a new nano and perhaps a slimmer iPod touch, possibly at a lower price point.

Toni Sacconaghi, an analyst with Bernstein Research, also expects the new as-rumoured nano and some news for the touch, that he says "simply does not appear to be selling as strongly as it did just two quarters ago".

Pocket-lint will be attending the event on 9 Spetember, and bring you all the official Apple news - including any "one more thing" surprises from Steve Jobs - then.
