Following international launches in as far afield as Luxembourg, Malaysia, Indonesia and Turkey, RIM has launched the BlackBerry Bold smartphone in the UK with Vodafone.

According to the Newbury-based operator, the BlackBerry Bold is available on special promotion from free on the Anytime 600 data plan for £35 a month with a 24 month contract.

Landing 2 weeks after Orange and T-Mobile, the Vodafone offering will be £10 cheaper.

The £35 plan includes 600 minutes talk-time, unlimited texts and data/Internet access with a 500MBs per month fair usage policy.

The BlackBerry Bold is also available on all Vodafone Total Business price plans.

O2 is the only operator left to announce its plans for the handset. Mobile operator 3 has said that it hopes to offer the smartphone for "Crackberry addicts" in November.
