Dell has confirmed to multiple sources it is to launch a mini-notebook, with the debut of the device expected this week.According to various sites the announcement - of an Eee rivalling ultra-portable - will be made as early as Thursday.
A spokesperson for the US computer giant told Pocket-lint: "Dell plans to release an ultra-mobile device, but I don’t have any update on launch date".
Expected to be called the Inspiron Mini 9, specs are said to be an 8.9-inch screen, Intel Atom processor, Wi-Fi and possibly 3G mobile broadband built-in too.
