LaCie USB speakers by Neil Poulton launch

LaCie has announced "an encore" to its FireWire speakers with the release of the a USB version designed, as an increasing number of higher-end LaCie products are, by Neil Poulton.

Offering bus-powered USB connectivity, plug and play compatibility, internal cable storage, and a carrying case, LaCie boasts the speakers "will wow audiences with their stylish design and superior sound".

"The new USB speakers provide universal flexibility to all USB-enabled computers without the need for additional power cables, electrical sockets, or batteries", said Alexis Kobassian, LaCie accessories product manager.

The minimalist LaCie USB speakers are available now worldwide for £39.
