Mio has launched a new satnav device at IFA in Berlin that features a 7-inch screen and TV playback options and DivX support.

The new C728 will come with an 800 x 480 resolution (WVGA) screen making sure you'll never have issues about seeing where on the map you are supposed to turn.

Promising to dominate your dashboard, the device will let you watch videos in DivX, MPEG4 and WMV formats when you're stuck in a traffic jam.

Europeans will also be able to benefit from a DVB-T and DVB-H receiver so you can catch up with your soaps on the road.

The Bluetooth sporting Satnav will be available late October the C728 will cost 399 euros. No word as yet as to whether or not it will be coming to the UK.
