Harman Kardon has announced the launch of the "GLA-55" two-piece computer speaker system. The company says it's "arguably the best 2.0 speaker system available today" and describes it as a "stylised multimedia focal point, boasting breathtaking beauty, functionality and impeccable sonic performance".
The GLA-55 offers 100-watt bi-amplified digital amplifier coupled with DSP equalization and there's tons of proprietary tech such as Atlas AL drivers and woofers and a CMMD tweeter as well as optimisation for digital sound.
Obviously looks-wise the speakers make a bit of a statement and there's touch sensitive volume controls. The GLA-55 system will be available in autumn 2008 worldwide with no pricing revealed. Audio, Speakers, Harman Kardon, IFA2008, Harmon Kardon
