Toshiba has launched the new DV Series at IFA, a range of HD-Ready LCD TV units with integrated DVD players.

Aimed for use in the bedroom or kitchen, Tosh says the DV series is designed with an emphasis on flexibility and user-friendliness.

Each model features a DVD player, Integrated Digital Tuner, HDMI connectivity and a 720p HD resolution.

With four pre-set picture modes (Sport, Movie, Standard and Memory) as well as three colour presets, specs include 170 degree viewing angles, contrast ratios of up to 1000:1 and support for Dolby Digital and DTS Digital sound while the DVD player gets support for CD, MP3, DivX and JPEG.

Available in piano black or high gloss white, the DV Series will be available to buy from October, and will be available in 19- and 22-inch screen sizes.
