As well as launching the upscaling Regza series, Toshiba has also announced the Regza RV series available in 37-, 42- and 46-inch screen sizes, that Toshiba are calling "competitively" priced.All models get a 1920 x 1080p high-definition 100Hz panel as well as Toshiba’s Active Vision M100HD picture processing, which claims to eradicate motion blur by inserting an intermediate image between frames to double the overall refresh rate for smoother motion handling.
In addition there's 24fps, 10-bit colour processing, Dynamic Contrast ratios ranging between 18,000:1 and 30,000:1, NICAM Stereo and SRS WOW technology, integrated digital tuner, and three HDMI inputs,
All models will launch in October 2008, with additional information and pricing available soon.
