Canon has unveiled its autumn collection, and, while the new EOS 50D, is no doubt hogging a lot of the attention, there was also a whole host of printers and scanners unveiled. We have detailed all of the new releases - along with specs and pics - on our sister site - Photography Press - but here's a run-down of what to look for.
The Pixma all-in-one and photo printer range has now been completely rehauled with new seven new All-In-One (AIO) devices and three new Photo printers.
Technologies shared across the new AIO launches include Auto Photo Fix automatic image correction, Auto Scan Mode to simplify scanning, and ChromaLife100+, which is claimed to deliver longer lasting, fade resistant photos.
And two of the new launches add Wi-Fi capabilities.
Prices range between £49.99 for the lower-end MP190 up to £279 for the flagship MP980.
The single function printers are the iP1900, iP3600 and the top-of-the-range iP4600 - which delivers 10 x 15cm borderless prints in approximately 20 seconds.
Canon has also unveiled a trio of new scanners - offering faster scanning speeds and higher resolutions on their predecessors.
They are the CanoScan LiDE 100 and the CanoScan LiDE 200 - the former which is an entry-level model scanning at resolutions of 2400 x 4800dpi resolution with 48-bit colour.
The CanoScan LiDE 200 delivers an increased resolution of 4800 x 4800dpi and will scan a colour A4 document or photo of 14 seconds.
Last up is the CanoScan 5600F which is geared towards "premium level users", as it includes film scanning and white LED technology. Cameras, Canon, Scanners, Printers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
