Canon launches stylish Selphy printer duo

The ES3 and ES30 - dinky but functional

Canon has added two new compact printers, for printing on the go, to its expanding Selpy range.

The Selphy ES3 and ES30 succeed the ES2 and ES20 respectively.

The key to the design is compactness and portability - so both sport carrying handles and the images come out of the top of the printers (which are tall rather than squat designs).

Improvements on their predecessors include larger LCD screens - 3.5-inch for the ES3 and 3.0-inch for the ES30.

You also get three new image effects: Modern Bright, Pinhole Camera and Nostalgic, as well as the tools accessed via the Creative Print button, which include a variety of layouts, filter effects and picture additions – such as clip art and frames.

Also worth a mention are the gold and silver Easy Photo Packs that you can buy for the printer duo - which add gold and silver to the colours that the printers can output.

The ES3 is available from the end of September priced at £189 or €239 while the ES30 is cheaper at £139 or €179.
