Dyson has announced that it is adding a car charging kit to its handheld vacuum cleaner.

The new charging gadget will plug directly into a 12V power supply (read cigerette lighter) and give you juice on the go.

It's handy too as the DC16 only gives 6 minutes of juice for you to whizz around your car, caravan or boat, before it runs out of power.

Dyson is hoping the new accessory will mean you don't have to find a power plug in between cleans.

Annoyingly though you still won't be able to power and use at the same time.

The DC16 will come with the new charging option for £129.99. Alternative those who have already bought into the sucking device will be able to get the car charging kit for £29.99
