White iPhone goes on sale at Carphone Warehouse

White version now available everywhere

Carphone Warehouse is now stocking the white Apple iPhone 3G in the UK Pocket-lint has learnt.

Available from Friday, the mobile phone retail chain will begin selling the white version of the 3G mobile phone for the first time.

Up until now, customers looking to buy a white version of the iPhone have had to visit an Apple store to get their hands on the white version of the iPhone 3G, however that's all about to change say Carphone Warehouse.

The retailer, still keen to shift the phone on the O2 network, will be stocking the white 16GB version of the phone offering it on the same tariff as the black version.

Users will be able to get the web friendly phone for free if they sign a contact for £75 a month.
