Sony has just announced that it is launching a revamped version of its PSP handheld console.
The new model, announced at the company's keynote speech at the Leipzig Games Convention, will feature better hardware features over the current PSP slim and Lite.
David Reeves, SCEE president confirmed rumours that the model would follow the Nintendo DS and feature a built-in microphone, an even brighter LCD screen than currently and Skype support out of the box, something that is likely to cause a rift with BT's GO messenger service currently available.
When can we expect the new model? It's hitting the UK in 15 October.
