The 10-inch Advent 4211 netbook (or should I say the MSI Wind?) is available from PC World for £279, but it now has a big brother in the Advent 5511.PC World is claiming this is the UK’s lowest priced Intel Centrino 2 Processor laptop, delivering "full HD entertainment, superior performance and energy efficiency at a great price".
And that price is £529.99.
For this, you get the new chipset, longer battery life, better wireless connectivity and 250GB HDD, 2GB RAM and a 15.4-inch widescreen display (so there goes the portability).
In addition it integrates the latest 802.11n Wi-Fi, which is fast enough to support wireless video streaming and mobile online gaming. Hardware, Laptops, PC World, Advent, MSI Wind, Netbooks, Intel
