The team at Engadget has heard that we may in for some new designs from Seagate - the storage chaps.
Pictured are what could be the next-gen hard drives for the FreeAgent line-up (check out picture number 2).
Says Engadget: "The drive on the left is a likely FreeAgent Desktop replacement while the drive on the right looks to either augment or replace the FreeAgent Go series with its thinner profile and docking port".
And the new drives will be available in a whole array of colours from grey, black and silver to red, green, gold and pink.
Speeds will start at 5400RPM but could be boosted to 7200RPM in the future.
Expect an annoucement in September.
