Audiophiles - the Nanosat 5.1 system is now available in the UK for £599.

The 5.1-channel speaker system (which is expandable to 6.1 or 7.1) is claimed to blast out "great sound wherever you sit in the room", and the sound is said to be uniform.

It is also claimed to be the world’s smallest omnipolar speaker system.

The system consists of five matching satellite speakers for front, centre, and surround channels and also includes a 75 Watts RMS active 8in or 200mm subwoofer.

But each of the satellite speakers is just 10.7 x 14.9 x 11.1cm and weighs 1.2kg.

The Nanosat system is available now for £599, but Nanosats can also be purchased individually at £79 each.

You can also buy optional floorstands, which are 76cm high, for £69 a pair.
