Oregon-based InFocus has launched the IN80 - a new 1080p DLP home theatre projector.

Straight out of the box, InFocus is promising a 4m full HD picture "imbued with bright natural colours and deep blacks".

For £1299.00, the IN80 is claimed to be easy to use, and uses DLP DarkChip technology with BrilliantColor from Texas
Instruments.

This delivers a 2500:1 contrast ratio (boosted to a maximum of 7500:1 using the iris) and you also get a brightness of 1300 Max ANSI lumens.

You also get two HDMI 1.3 inputs (one via M1-DA) with Deep Color support, which can display up to 1.07 billion
colours.

User-friendly features include automatic colour gamut and black level calibration, digital vertical lens shift and digital keystone correction.

And you can also customise your settings, including organising different settings for night and day use.

The projector comes with a 2m HDMI cable and M1-to-
HDMI adapter

And also worth a mention is the 3-year limited factory warranty (including parts and labour), and 1-year lamp replacement warranty.

The InFocus IN80 Full HD 1080p DLP projector will be available from next month.
