USB drives seem to be getting smaller by the week. Dane-Elec has announced its latest mini USB drive is just twice the size of a 10p piece placing it in the "small enough to lose" category, but not a world's smallest.

The Mini-Mate, measuring at less than 1cm thick, 1.5 cm wide and 4 cm long offers 2GB storage.

The Mini-Mate has a 5 year guarantee and is also High-Speed USB certified.

You'll be able to store up to 800 pictures or 3h of video on the drive and it will come in two colours, blue and green and a red 4GB version will be available soon.

The Mini-Mate 2GB is shipping now with an RRP of £14.99 and the Mini-Mate 4GB version will be available for a RRP of £29.99 in the following weeks.
