Datacase, an application that turns your iPhone and iPod touch into a wireless drive and file viewer has launched on Tuesday in the iTunes App Store.
Announced last month, the new app, called DataCase, works directly with Finder and Bonjour to make saving files for transporting easy according to the software makers Veiosoft.
Working with Mac or PC the software will connect automatically allowing you to drag and drop files to the phone/MP3 player as well as being able to upload via an FTP connection as long as its connected to a network.
You'll also be able to view files on the device negating the need for a computer, say its makers.
Supported file types include Microsoft Office, PDF, Text, Images, HTML, audio and video.
Available from today it will cost £3.99
