No Dell netbook today

Word on the inside says business models coming instead

12 August 2008 11:14 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Dell has confirmed to Pocket-lint that it will not be launching its much rumoured netbook model today.

According to our source on the inside, the new Mobility range, which is due to be announced later today will be a new range of business laptops rather than the tiny laptop computer showed off by Michael Dell earlier this year.

Although we don't have details of what is being launched, we've been told they won't be "consumer" focused.

The press event, being held in San Francisco and being broadcast on the web, will kick off around 5pm UK time.

Eitherway whatever the company announces we will have all the details as they happen as long as they aren't too boring.

We will keep you posted.
