Poppy favoured mobile phone

Siemens has turned to two female British designers to break away from the square masculine designs of most of its range.

The result is the Siemens CL75 Poppy which has been designed by Siemens with the help of Nargess Gharani and Vanya Strok on the accompanying accessories.

The pair have designed a charm to dangle from the phone made from real silver and inset with a striking pink Swarovski crystal. The charms will only be available to buy in very limited edition, with all proceeds donated to Breast Cancer Care.

The Siemens CL75 Poppy is a special edition phone, available exclusively in the UK. Created by an all-female team. Following sterotypes to the limited the team has even included a compact mirror in the design so girls can do their makeup on the move.

The CL75 Poppy will be available in the UK from October 2005 from stockists including Carphone Warehouse, O2, Phones4U, The Link and Virgin from £99.99 on pay-as-you-go.
