IXOS launches multiway HDMI switch
Four into one for home cinema bliss

IXOS has unveiled the XHT948 HDMI 4 into 1 Switch, which has a £300 price tag.
This HD switch does what it says on the tin - it allows you to connect up to four HDMI signal sources to any single display (DVD player, HD CATV receiver, HD satellite receiver, game console, PVR, etc.)
But it is also claimed to enhance the HDMI signals even over as much as a 40m gap.
And it delivers 1080p capable - HDMI 1.3a - content.
You get data error LED alerts for improper or no signals and also input LEDs for easy identification of the component providing the signal.
And it comes with an infra-red control.
